About Us

Our Vision
We are curious, capable, confident learners empowered to be compassionate world citizens.

Our Belief and Our Journey
We are on a journey within the D51 Learning Model to redefine what education should look like in the 21st century for our students. We strive to create an environment with our students that encourages and fosters a belief in themselves and creates a school culture of kindness where each person is valued. Through STEM, students are immersed in a learning model that not only establishes foundational skills in reading, writing, and math, but also reinforces interpersonal skills and teamwork within real world problems. We are thoughtful in our implementation of key learning structures that balance important foundational and inquiry-based learning components. We believe parents are an integral part of this learning journey and without this partnership we would not be able to realize this vision.

About STEM
STEM is an acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. This is an inquiry-based learning model utilizing problem-based learning to engage students in real-world problems. Students will be immersed in the problem-solving process and will test and redesign their ideas. As educators, we use best practices in our instructional practices that actively engage students in the learning process and encourage students to take ownership.
